TWIN
 |
- TWIN automatic greasing will keep
your vehicles in top condition
Groeneveld offers several automatic greasing system options for transport
vehicles. One of them is the dual line TWIN system that is mostly used
in vehicles operating under severe conditions for continuous periods
of time.
TWIN guarantees that all pivoting
points that need lubrication are constantly greased, ensuring that the
availability of the vehicles is not endangered as a result of unanticipated
problems due to bad lubrication.
Thus, TWIN has a serious impact on your operational management. This
ingenious greasing system will grease every lubrication point of your
machine accurately, while it also self-checks and alerts the operator
in case of any malfunction. What you gain: reduced loss of time due
to maintenance and downtime, i.e. a higher return on investment from
your equipment.
|
- Dual line 2-grease system
The TWIN 2-grease system is a fully monitored greasing system, consisting
of a plunger pump, a main line network with metering units and a secondary
lines network to the greasing points. The selection switch allows the
user to set the best possible interval - for specific applications -
between greasing cycles. The grease moves to the metering blocks through
the main lines. The pump automatically switches off as soon as the pressure
in all metering units has reached a minimum of 100 bar. The advantage
of this particular system set-up is that the greasing points furthest
away from the pump will receive the specified amount of grease at full
pressure.
- Follower plate system
The standard pump equipment features a follower plate which follows
the grease level. It prevents oxidation of the grease as well as funnelling
of the grease within the reservoir, while the reservoir wall remains
clean. The actual grease level can be seen immediately. Because of this
follower plate, the TWIN is excellently suited for use with biodegradable
greases.
- TWIN, obvious benefits

SingleLine
 |
- Automatic single-line O-grease
greasing system with air pump
Groeneveld supplies the single-line automatic greasing system
in a special version for trucks. This system greases all greasing
points simultaneously, at the right moment and with the correct
amount of grease. Because of the regular greasing, vital parts
such as the stub axles and the clutch disc will remain well-greased
at all times so moisture and sand are kept out. Wear of expensive
parts is reduced to a minimum without you having to give it a
single thought.
|
- The benefits of an automatic greasing
system
- time gain
- no extra service stops
- reduced wear
- reduced repair costs
- greater reliability
- Operation
Via the main line, the metering blocks and the metering units, and then
via secondary lines, the pump unit pumps the exact amount of grease
to each greasing point.
In lorries an electronic time switch determines the greasing moment
and the duration of the greasing cycle every time the set interval time
is reached.
For trailers and semi-trailers without a regular power supply, Groeneveld
offers a version with a brake counter. Here, the greasing cycle is initiated
as soon as the brake has been engaged for a set number of times. The
brake counter is actuated electrically (brake light voltage) or pneumatically
(air circuit).
In case of low grease pressure in the main line, a pressure switch will
monitor this and activate an audible or optical alarm in the cab.
- Transparent grease reservoir with
follower plate
The follower plate is a standard feature. It locks in the grease in
the reservoir.
The benefits of the follower plate:
- no oxidation of the grease
- no water condensation near the grease
- no funnelling; all the grease is
used
- clean reservoir wall, clearly showing
the grease level
- Lubricants
Use of the correct grease enhances the effect of automatic greasing.
Groeneveld supplies the especially developed Greenlube EP-0 grease that
combines the best properties of the various greases. Also, Greenlube
EP-0 grease does not contain any nitrite, antimonies or lead.
Expert installation
Groeneveld's automatic greasing systems are installed and supplied turnkey
as complete installation kits per vehicle type on the basis of the required
number of greasing points. Groeneveld's mechanics will carry out the
installation or instruct your own maintenance staff.

Oilmaster
 |
- Oilmaster, automatic oil checks and
oil addition
Checking and adding oil is a daily necessity for diesel and petrol engines.
This manual 'oil management' remains a continuous worry and it increases
costs more than necessary. Oilmaster solves both problems in a professional
and efficient manner.
- The convenience of security
The primary benefit that Oilmaster provides to drivers is additional
convenience. Adding oil while on the road - something that always leads
to dirty hands at inconvenient moments - is definitely a thing of the
past. Oilmaster offers maintenance staff and management more comfort
in the form of increased security. Risks of major repairs, downtime
and claims for damages due to engine damage are, in fact, reduced to
a minimum.
|
- Sophisticated oil management
Oilmaster monitors the oil level when the ignition is switched on and automatically
adds oil, as necessary. The system will then pump a small quantity of oil
from the integrated reservoir to the engine sump. Because of the monitoring
frequency and the addition of oil when required, the engine can always run
at the perfect oil level. In general, this level is substantially lower than
the maximum level mark on the dipstick. This accounts for a major part of
the profits that the Oilmaster generates day in, day out - oil consumption
is substantially lower at low oil levels, and far less oil is required than
usual, when changing oil. This rapidly increases financial benefits, especially
when expensive oil is used. And of course the environment also profits from
the minimal oil consumption.
- Advanced electronics
The highly accurate level sensor ensures that the oil level that was set when
the Oilmaster was installed will be monitored carefully. Smart electronics
prevent overfilling of oil. Also, important information is stored in the Oilmaster's
electronic memory to enable quick diagnosis in case of excess oil consumption.
- Oilmaster: benefits that convince
- reduced consumption of driver time
- reduced oil consumption due to optimum
oil level setting
- less downtime for maintenance and repairs
- always identical oil quality
- no spare oil in the vehicle
- closed oil management system
- less oil needed when changing oil
- reduced burden on the environment
- 6-litre and 12.5-litre Oilmaster models
The most widely used Oilmaster is the 12.5-liter model. A 6-litre model is
also available for smaller vehicles. Because of its smaller size, this model
can be fitted easily in delivery vans, smaller lorries and such - naturally
with the same positive effects on the availability and the profitability of
these vehicles.

Speedlimiter
 |
- Electronic speed limiter for trucks,
busses and vans
A speed or rpm limiter increases safety and contributes to the cost-efficiency
of the vehicle due to higher fuel efficiency and reduced wear of the
engine, tyres and brakes.
- Economical and safe
Safety considerations and legal provisions are usually instrumental
to the purchase of speed limiters. Reduction of the emission of harmful
substances was one of the reasons why legislative powers set a maximum
permissible driving speed. For years now, Groeneveld has supplied rpm
and speed limiters that meet all international standards and test requirements.
|
- Driving comfortably
The Groeneveld electronic speed limiter leaves engine power fully intact,
while setting a maximum speed and/or rpm. Due to its digital electronic control,
the speed limiter operates smoothly and highly accurately. The limiter also
takes changing circumstances such as downhill, uphill and head wind into account,
without the driver noticing anything. The EFA limiter motor is of the dual
operating type - it can both thrust and pull. As a result, the driver does
not need any extra strength to keep the accelerator in the correct position.
- A sensible investment
- saves fuel costs
- saves maintenance and repair costs of brakes,
engine and tyres
- increased road safety
- increased driver comfort
- reduces burden on environment
- PTO and Speedhold
In vehicles with Power Take-Off (PTO), limiting the second engine rpm is generally
possible. All Groeneveld limiters feature a speedhold switch which allows
temporary limitation at a second, lower, top speed.
Option: additional driving comfort with Cruise Control
Driving with Groeneveld Cruise Control is much more comfortable. Cruise Control
enhances the advantages of the speed limiter, particularly with regard to
driver comfort.
All the driver has to do is to touch a small dashboard lever. It will maintain
the current driving speed, allowing the driver to take his foot off the accelerator!
As soon as the brake, clutch, engine brake or retarder is actuated, the Cruise
Control switches off. The electronics take changing conditions such as downhill,
uphill and head wind into account to prevent fluctuations in driving speed.
Cruise Control can be purchased as an option along with a Groeneveld EFA speed
limiter or as an upgrade kit for pre-mounted limiters.

- Speed
limiter for forklift trucks
As a rule, forklift trucks that are too fast do not contribute to speedier
handling of goods nor, consequently, to higher cost efficiency. Rather to
the contrary - fast driving leads to unexpected costs as a result of increased
engine, brake and tyre wear, while the chances of collision also increase
substantially.
Economical and safe
With a special speed limiter for forklift trucks developed on the basis of
the know-how of speed limiters for trucks, Groeneveld has the perfect solution.
A forklift truck with a Groeneveld speed limiter will generate substantial
savings. Maintenance costs will be reduced and truck life will increase. Also,
fuel economy will increase, while the emission of harmful exhaust gasses will
be reduced.
And then there is the important aspect of safety. Chances of accidents resulting
in injury or damages are also be reduced substantially.
- The benefits of the Groeneveld speed limiter:
- reduced costs due to fewer repairs and
less downtime
- reduced wear, i.e. longer life
- fewer damages to means of production, goods
and the forklift truck itself
- increased safety
- does not affect acceleration and lifting
capacity
- How it works
The speed limiter limits the top end speed of the forklift truck to a safe
value. The maximum speed is set in the electronic control unit (8 km/h minimum).
The set maximum speed can only be changed with special equipment. It is possible
to seal the control unit after it has been set as an extra security measure.
The speed sensor which is already on the forklift truck - or which will be
mounted on the axle of the truck - measures the forklift truck speed. The
electronic control unit will then convert the measured value into a control
signal to the actuator. If required, the actuator will ensure that the position
of the throttle lever is adjusted.
When working with the forklift truck, it is important that acceleration and
lifting capacity is affected and that the engine retains its full power. With
the Groeneveld limiter, this aspect has been achieved.
- Easy to install
The Groeneveld speed limiter is developed to be incorporated into forklift
trucks with combustion engines. The limiter can be mounted onto almost every
current type of forklift truck.
Special installation kits are available to this purpose. They include an actuator
(EFA), mounting hardware, an electronic control unit, a speed sensor and hardware
to connect the kit to the existing throttle system. Groeneveld or your authorized
dealer can install the kits and set the limiter for you.
Greensight
 |
- Greensight Rear Obstacle Detection
For Reversing
A lot of skill and nerves of steel, thats what a driver needs
when he is reversing a lorry. Greensight, a Groeneveld product, is an
effective damage prevention device. Greensight provides the driver with
accurate information about the free space behind the vehicle.
Various light and/or acoustic signals indicate exactly how far the vehicle
is from a possible obstacle or loading platform. While reversing, the
driver will see the Greensight display from the corner of his eye, indicating
whether there are any obstacles behind the vehicle. Also, when there
is immediate danger of collision, the driver is warned by a buzzer.
|
- The benefits of Greensight
- Increased safety for people and objects
behind the vehicle
- Less damage and consequently less downtime
- Detects only the risk area directly behind
the vehicle
- More driver security and comfort
- Also works in bad weather conditions and
darkness
- Professional, reliable technology
- How it works
Two sensor units use ultrasonic sound to check the space up to three metres
behind the vehicle. This space is divided up into three sharply defined zones,
each with its own visual and acoustic signals. The types of signals depend
on the type of vehicle.
In the case of a rigid lorry, a signal unit that produces both audible and
visual signals (using LEDs) is fitted in the cab.
- Self-diagnosis
Greensight automatically activates when the driver changes into reverse. The
system first performs a self-test. Within a few seconds, Greensight is ready
to perform its security task.
Top corner detection
Groeneveld also supplies a Greensight model with top corner detection. By
mounting two additional ultrasonic units on top of the vehicle, high obstacles
such as signboards, half-opened rolling doors and tree branches are also detected.
- Technical specifications
Power supply voltage: 12 or 24 V/DC
